“ELVIS” 1972 Westfalia VW Bus
Restored with new engine 2009, less than 10k miles on it. (Odometer reads 67000)
These buses haven’t been made for decades but there’s still a strong demand for these classic VW buses, especially those with the camper conversion option. To date, nothing else has appeared that can match its combination of utility, reliability, and simplicity.

This is a vintage VW bus and it is in great condition. This bright chartreuse and white 1972 Volkswagen Microbus is exactly what you’ve been looking for! Functional, clean, and used for around town rides. Always kept indoors when not tooling around town, although “Elvis” is always up for a greater adventure!

The bodywork is in good shape, there are several areas of small rust, I can send photos, if requested. The interior has been restored with new cream colored vinyl upholstery, paneled ceiling and side panels.

An AC system and a CD player have been added.
The hub caps are NEW and the front seats now have NEW retractable seat belts.

The bus was painted a beautiful chartreuse yellow and white combination. The Westfalia camper top is in excellent shape and the canvas camper portion that lifts up has been completely replaced. The vehicle is equipped with electrical hookups and louver windows on the side of the van.

Inside it is clean (excellent), and all interior systems are in good working order. The pop-up tent, in excellent condition, makes room for the entire family to spend time on outdoors adventures. There is a pop up dining table, ice box and side table. Power comes from a air-cooled 2.0 liter Volkswagen flat-four.

This is NOT a muscle car, but it has always been reliable and you’ll always get where you’re going. Routinely driven hundreds of thousands of miles, you can’t beat these wonderful old vehicles and their longevity! The 4-speed manual transmission shifts well, starts up fast and easy. We just put on a new emergency brake too.

NEW Washington tags (July 2018). New Battery, includes trickle charger for winter garaging. I will throw in the foam sleep pad for the bed. Sheets that match the curtains, Books on owning one of these classic buses, small vacuum, Visor mirror and document holder. Storage carrier for between the front seats. NOTE: When looking at the pictures you can see that I have the front seats protected by covers. Seats are in beautiful condition.

I love my bus but it may be time to pass him on…
